-
What can I expect during my first session?
Your first appointment is an opportunity for us to get to know one another. We'll discuss what brings you to therapy, review relevant history, explore your goals, and answer any questions you may have. There is no expectation to share everything during your first session—we move at a pace that feels comfortable for you.
How long are therapy sessions?
Most appointments are approximately 50 minutes. Extended sessions may be available when clinically appropriate.
How often will we meet?
Frequency is based on your individual needs and goals. Many clients begin with weekly sessions and adjust over time as progress is made.
Is therapy confidential?
Yes. Your privacy is extremely important. Information shared during therapy is confidential, with limited exceptions required by law, which will be reviewed during your informed consent process.
